NATO Strikes in Libya

http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/story/2011-09-11/libya-nato/50361126/1

For the last six-months NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) has been collaborating with the revolutionary forces in Libya in order to support democratic progress in the area. This article is about how the Gadhafi-regime supporters have been able to defend the town of Bani Walid, one of the few regions not under rebel control, from NATO strikes and rebel intrusion. The significance is that total victory over the regime is still not guaranteed for the rebels despite large global support against Gadhafi and that the civil war may go on for even longer because of the diligence of Gadhafi supporters.
